Two Headed Rat Necklace

Nature glitches, and that’s when it gets interesting. The Two-Headed Rat Necklace is a small but deliberate rebellion. Two minds inhabiting one tiny body, as though being born an anomaly was the original blueprint.

I made this necklace for the complicated souls. The people who feel too emotional and too distant in the same breath, who have been told they are too much and somehow still not enough. The ones who are soft and feral, tender and unhinged, who want to be held while also wanting to be untouchable. The ones who feel split down the middle and are still standing anyway.

I sculpted this piece by hand in my NYC studio and will cast it in your choice of metal, turning that internal argument so many of us carry into something tangible. This necklace isn’t here to resolve the contradictions, it's here to honor them. Anomaly Jewelry is for the beautifully complicated.

Dimensions:
The charm measures just over 1/4 of an inch long 9mm at its widest. The chain is 1mm and is adjustable, measuring 17" at its shortest and 21 inches at its longest.

Materials:
Silver Tone: white brass on a stainless steel chain
Gold Tone: brass charm on a gold plated, stainless steel chain
Sterling Silver: all parts are solid sterling silver 

The base metals I use (Silver Tone and Gold Tone) are both 100% brass. White brass is a metallic alloy that is made of copper and zinc. There is no nickel in any of our jewelry. For more information on the metals I use, please see the FAQ's.
